Our U14s, North Edinburgh Vikings put in a spirited, attack-minded display at home, crossing the line four times in a high-scoring thriller against a clinical Accies side.

The visitors caught the Vikings off guard early, exploiting the wings to score in the first minute before adding two further converted tries to build a quick 21–0 lead.

Refusing to back down, the Vikings roared into life at the 15-minute mark. Off a neat lineout routine from Harrison and Sam, Silas crashed straight through the middle to open the home side's account, with Cairn adding the extra two points. Minutes later, Henry produced the moment of the match, pouncing on a turnover deep inside his own 22 and sprinting the full length of the pitch to dive under the posts.

Sustained pressure from the Vikings pack kept Accies pinned back, allowing Silas to power over for his second of the afternoon. Cairn converted to haul the score back to 28–19, though a late Accies strike just before the break sent the teams into halftime at 35–19.

The second half began as a tight, physical tussle, with the Vikings defending resolute in the loose. Accies eventually managed to break away, scoring twice in quick succession to extend their advantage to 47–19.

The home side kept pushing to the end and were rewarded with a superb team try. A surging run down the wing by Seb set the foundation, with quick hands from Silas and Henry allowing Carter to force his way over. Cairn converted, but two late tries from Accies ultimately sealed the 60–26 result at the final whistle.
